Our Story
Where It Started
UK Uni Admissions was born out of a simple observation that Sri Lankan students with the talent and ambition to study in the UK were being held back not by their ability, but by a lack of clear, honest, localised guidance.
Over two decades ago, a small team in Colombo began helping students navigate the complexities of UK university applications. At a time when most information about studying abroad came from expensive agents with conflicting interests, the goal was different: to give every Sri Lankan student access to the same quality of guidance regardless of their background or budget.
That idea has never changed.
The Gap We Bridge
Applying to a UK university from Sri Lanka is not straightforward. The A/L system, local transcripts, and Sri Lankan academic culture are not always well understood by university admissions teams. And most students here do not fully understand the UK system, including UCAS, CAS letters, visa requirements, and IELTS thresholds.
We sit in the middle of that gap. We know both sides. We speak to university admissions teams on a first-name basis. We know what a Sri Lankan transcript means and how to present it. And we know how to translate a student's potential into an application that gets results.

Why We Charge Students Nothing
From the very beginning the decision was made that students should never pay for guidance. Not a consultation fee. Not an application fee. Not a commission.
UK universities fund our service. When a student we guide is accepted and enrols, the university recognises us for the work we did. That is the model, and it means our incentives are perfectly aligned with yours. We only succeed when you do.
In 21+ years that model has never changed and it never will.

The universities have changed. The visa rules have changed. The application processes have changed. UCAS has been rebuilt. Tuition fees have risen. English requirements have tightened.
